iDrilling Technologies (iDT), founded in October 2023 by Shri Vignesh and Sri Krishna is an upstream oil and gas well construction services and technology company established in Dubai, UAE. We provide a wide spectrum of well construction related services (design and preparation, pre-drilling and post-drilling phases with the exception of execution) with our technical expertise and our advisory panel of highly qualified domain experts at reduced costs and increased efficiency through digitization and remote project delivery. 

Our inspiration for creating iDT originated post Covid – 19 where the global oil and gas industry had transformed their operating models to deliver several aspects of a project from remote locations across the world, as the pandemic had restricted physical travel.

In the upstream oil and gas industry, 45 – 60% of a field exploration and monetization CAPEX is spent on well construction. Moreover, with the industry’s increasing global drive for hydrocarbon exploration in challenging environments, the associated risks and complexity drive the cost up further.

Therefore, one of the fundamental objectives for Operators world-wide is to develop strategies to reduce the cost of well construction without compromising objectives. iDT was launched to help Operators do just that.

We integrate cost-effective technology innovations such as web conferencing, cloud-based data processing and storage and robust software solutions with our technical expertise to deliver well construction related services from an online digital platform.

The founders of iDT hold valuable experience in the construction of oil and gas wells with complexities ranging from standard (NPNT wells) to extreme wells (ERD, HPHT, Deepwater, etc) primarily in India, Nigeria, Ghana and some parts of Eastern Europe.
